Assisting Pastor:
                        Rev. Dalton Love
Dalton Love serves the First Church as an assisting pastor.  This is a part time way of feeling useful in his retirement from pastoring four churches as a Presbyterian minister.  Dalton was born in Port Huron, Mich,
graduated from Alma College in Alma, Mich. and Louisville Presbyterian Seminary in Kentucky.  He served a church in Louisville, and three in Ohio.  Iberia, Creston and North Kingsville.
After 30 years of active pastoring he retired early and owned and operated a 10 minute oil change business in Brunswick, Oh.  With his wife Peggy they moved into a new apartment at the Wesleyan Village in May 2000.  They have 6 children between them and keep busy with Village life and family connections. Dalton helps our church by coordinating the music for the 6 p.m. Saturday contemporary worship time.  He plays the guitar and clarinet and finds great joy in that music and in assisting our Sr. pastor in various ways.
